The RECOVER command allows you to reclaim
your nickname if someone is using it. The person using it is the prompted to IDENTIFY
for that nickname using the password. If he/she does not respond within 60
seconds, he/she is forcibly removed from the network. The format for this
command is:
/NickServ RECOVER nickname password
Please remember that the password is case sensitive. If you find that others try
to use your nickname, you should consider setting KILL
ON. That way anyone not in the access list will be required to use the nickname
password. If no password is sent, or the password is incorrect, then the person
is forcibly removed from the network, and NickServ assigns your nickname to an enforcer.
